Vegetarian Bazaar

     Two weeks ago, Maha Vihara Duta Maitreya, the location is at Sungai Panas, Bukit Beruntung, Batam. The bazaar takes two days on Saturday and Sunday. At the bazaar, the sold sushi, pizza, hamburger, french fries, o'luak, fish cake, pandan rice, padang rice, bak kut the, lo mie, nasi kuning, prata, fried snack, potato twister, mie pangsit, fried rice, fried noodles, fried rice, fried rice noodles.
     There are also sold handicrafts things like key chain that they made it themselves. They also made pen holder and then sold it. They also had art and culture performance.
     There are some interesting incident at the art and culture performance. There are some tourist sang at the stage, they sang "We Are One Family". When I heard they sang, I felt so touched. Even though they didn't know the lyrics but they still sing it. When they sang, many people watch them.
     I went to the bazaar vegetarian because I went to help. I am helping at the fried rice, fried noodles, fried rice noodles' stan. In the morning, there are not many people buy at my stan, but in the afternoon I can't handle it because there are so many people.
     And then, the ice cream stan needs more people, because one of the workers have to go. So, I help them. At the ice cream stan they are so many people buying too.. And they have no patience. So I ave to told them to wait, there are so many people buying dear little sister and brother.
     At the bazaar I want to buy empek-empek because it is delicious. But I didn't buy it even though it is delicious, because I didn't have enough money ;( but I got some foods because I help at bazaar, like fried noodles and rosela juice.
     At the bazaar, I saw my some of my friends, at there they are buying some foods. They bought foods like pizza, sushi, fried noodles, fried rice, fried rice noodles, bak kut the, oluak, french fries, potato twister, gorengan, rujak, and more.
     My friends all come to the bazaar because they want to take pictures for the english assignment. But, there are some that came to bazaar actually to buy foods.

This is chips or snacks that sold at the bazaar. It is not expensive, it is cheap. There are so many kinds of chips that sold there and the chips are so colorfull too. There are red color, orange color, yellow color, and so on. So many people bought it because it is delicious and crunchy. Some og these chips are made from potato or other vegetarian ingredients. They aye many kinds of shapes and sizes.

This is potato twist on the stick. This is one of the most popular snacks at the bazaar. They ate made from potato and then put the potato into a stick then twist it. After that, then fry it until it is golden brown. They are so many people bpught this potato twist snack and because it the stan are so crowded. They are many flavours for this snack like spicy, sweet, spicysweet pr barbeque. There are so many people and because of it, the people at the stan can't rest.

This is pizza, there are so many toppings for the pizza such ad mushroom, paprika, tomto, vegetarian meat, and other delicious things. The pizza color is red and the price for one piece of pizza is Rp.10.000,00

This is sushi, in one box there are 6 pieces of sushi, the sushi is filled with so many colorfull ingredients. It is delicious.

This is oluak. So many people bought this. I never taste it but people or some of my friends said that this is tasty.

Doing Chores

   Last month, my teacher, Ms.Liza told me to do housework and then took a picture of it. Well, I think it is easy for me because I usually do housework. Well, at that time my family (parents) wasn't at home. I didn't think it was hard because I usually do it.
 
    Sweeping the floor

   I swept in the living room, Why? because I thought it is dirty at that time. That room is used for gathering together, when people came. I think that I did it well, after I swept the living room, that room became clean. I felt very glad after the room became clean and tidy.
   Usually I swept the floor at the Saturday when I have free time. At Saturday I have extracullicular, it is cooking. At home, I help my mother cooking, so after that I will swept the floor. After I sweep, I will throw the rubbish into the trash can. The floor became really clean. Usually I sweep the floor and then I mop the floor. I usually sweep till 10 minutes or more. It is tiring.

   Mopping the floor

   I didn't mop the floor everyday, usually my housekeeper do it. My mom taught me how to mop when I was little. At that time (in the picture) I mopped the living room. That room became cleaner after I finished mop it.
   Usually I use the rose aroma one (mopping liquid). The scent is really nice. I rarely mop the floor, because i don't have time. After I mopped the floor, my hands became really wrinkled. I mopped the floor at the living room. At the living room there are sofa, and there is an aquarium. After I mopped the floor, the floor became really clean.









   Washing the dishes

   Washing the dishes is really easy, even my mom didn't teach me but i know how to do it. I did it by myself (self-taught). Maybe I washed it within 1 minute or less. The mateial of the plate (in the picture) is plastic.
   I washed dishes at the kicthen wastafel. Every time I finished eating, I always wash my dishes till the dishes is clean. I wash the plate or other dishes (houeware) with soap and sponge. The wastafel color is white.
   I did this maybe till 5 minutes because the dishes were a ot. Sometimes after my family eating, they told me to do the dishes because I'm the oldest girl in this household. Sometimes when I wash the dishes, my brother or sister help me to dry the dishes, and sometimes I just place the dishes to the drawer to let it dry by itself. I need to be careful when I was washing the dishes that the material is glass, but usually I wash the plastic material one. Sometimes I accidently turn the water to strong and the water just splash at me hahaha.



   As a girl, I think it is important to know how to do housework because when we grew up we will become a housewife too. We need to be good at it too, why? Because when we have a family we need to do the chores unless you hire a housemaid, even though you hire a housemaid at least you have to know the basics at doing housechores too. I think every students especially girls, need to know how to do housework. It is not just to help our parents at home, but we need to do it in the future too.

    Hi! My name is Olinda Viviani. My friends used to call me Olin. My physical appearance is i'm a little bit short, my hair is black, my eyes is black too and i have a mole on my chin. My regelion is Buddha. I'm from Indonesia.

    Indonesia is very beautiful, you should come to Indonesia one day! I'm sure you will never regret it.
    I live in Batam Island. Batam is known because of it industrial area and it is close to Singapore and Malaysia. Because of that, many tourist had visited Batam. I am 14years old now, but i will become 15 when my birthday comes. It is on October 10th. I'm a student at Maitreyawira Senior High School.
    My favorite subject is Physical Education. I like sports, that's why i like physics. I like to swim,but i don't swim very often because it will make my shoulders board.
    There are 7 people in my family. There are my Dad, Mom, 1 little sister, 3 brothers, and me. My father is an entrepreneur and my mother is a housewife.

    When I grow up I would like to be a psychologist, because I think it's fun to know people's emotions and try to solve it together.
     My hobby is dancing. But, the dance that I like isn't INLA, it's kpop. In my free time i like to watch korean dramas. I really love korean drama, but I don't like insects, and I don't like animals such as worms, catepillars, and mosquitoes or flies.
     My favorite food is fried chicken, I used to eat thatevery week. It's very yummy. But, sadly in my school i can't eat meat and onion/garlic. Now, I'll tell you about my favorite drink. It's some kind of juice, and the fruit is red. Can you guest what it is? It is an apple, yeah apple juice.
     My favorite day of the week is Saturday because I can relax at home. And I can watch korean dramas too! Yeay! My favorite month? of course, it is my birthday month, October! It is halloween too on October. But sadly, in Indonesia there are no halloween events.
     My favorite band is from South Korea, it is BTS, GOT7, and Seventeen. There are boygroups with full of handsome boys. I like romantic movies such as Doctors, Uncontrollably Fond, and action comedy movies such as the movie that I recently watch, Skip Trace starring Jackie Chan.
     My favorite place is an amusement park. Why? There are so many fun games, such as roller coaster(my favorite). I had so much fun there.
    I have been to Singapore, Malaysia, and West Kalimantan. My most memorable experience is when i went to Lego Land. I think the most beautifull place in my country is at Raja Ampat Beach, Papua.

     I love to study english, because it's fun and it is one of my favorite subject.
